Warranty conditions

Limited Warranty

Speediance makes no warranties other than those expressly stated in this limited warranty. This includes all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement, as well as all warranties arising from trade, use, or course of business.

1. Under this warranty, Speediance is only liable for loss or damage to the product that occurs while it is in Speediance's possession or during transport for which Speediance is responsible.

2. Speediance is not liable for the loss or disclosure of data stored in the product, including confidential, proprietary, or personal information.

3. Speediance, its affiliates, suppliers, distributors or service providers shall not be liable for any damages arising from the damage, loss, corruption or disclosure of data, nor for any special, incidental, punitive, indirect or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, lost profits, business revenues, goodwill or anticipated savings).

4. By accepting Speediance's warranty service, you agree that Speediance's total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the product, except in cases of personal injury (including death) or property damage caused solely by the actions of Speediance; in which case Speediance will be liable in accordance with applicable local laws and regulations (you agree to waive any penalties imposed on Speediance under local consumer protection laws in such cases).
If personal injury or property damage is caused jointly by Speediance and you or a third party, you bear the burden of proof for causation, and Speediance assumes the corresponding liability to the extent permitted by applicable law (you agree to waive any penalties imposed on Speediance under local consumer protection laws in such cases). The limitation of Speediance's total liability to the amount paid for the product does not apply in cases involving personal injury (including death), property damage, or loss of personal property.

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights under the laws of your country or region. The terms and conditions set forth in this warranty are subject to the legal provisions of your country or region. If the warranty period specified herein is shorter than the minimum period required by law, local laws and regulations shall apply.

Warranty scope

You are entitled to limited warranty services if the following conditions are met:

1. The Speediance product was purchased through official Speediance channels or authorized dealers.

2. Within the specified warranty period, the product experiences a performance failure that is not attributable to human factors.

3. The product was purchased for personal or household use. (Products purchased for commercial purposes require a separate purchase agreement and warranty terms with Speediance.)

4. A valid proof of purchase (e.g. order number, invoice or receipt) and the product's serial number must be presented.

5. The customer must contact the customer service team within 30 days of discovering the fault at after-sales@speediance.com Turn over and stop using the product immediately to avoid further damage.

How to get the warranty service

1. Contact Speediance customer service.
When contacting Speediance customer service, please provide a clear description of the problem with your product.

2. Initial troubleshooting:
Speediance will attempt to diagnose and resolve your issue via telephone, email, online chat, or remote support. In some cases, Speediance may recommend downloading and installing specific software updates. If these measures do not resolve the issue, you may be asked to return the product to Speediance for further evaluation.

If, during inspection within the warranty period, a performance failure is confirmed that was caused by non-human factors, Speediance will cover the costs of replacement, repair, and return shipping. Please note that additional service fees such as collection and processing are not included.

Should the product prove ineligible for free warranty service or be damaged in transit because the customer chose a carrier other than Speediance, Speediance will charge the applicable inspection, repair (including labor), shipping, and tax fees based on the inspection findings. You may choose between a paid repair or returning the original product. Return shipping costs are your responsibility.

3. On-site repair service:
During the warranty period (for defects caused solely by quality issues with Speediance products and not by human error), Speediance provides free replacement parts. If you require on-site repair, you can contact Speediance or an authorized dealer to request this service. However, labor costs, overnight accommodation (if the distance to the service center or point of sale exceeds 150 km), transportation costs, and any additional stair climbing fees will be your responsibility.

4. Repair and spare parts options
Depending on the type of damage, Speediance offers repair services, including the repair of defective parts or their replacement with remanufactured parts of the same type. These remanufactured items are tested to ensure their functionality and appearance are comparable to new parts. Replaced parts may have different serial numbers. The repaired or replaced product, or the replaced parts, are covered by the same warranty terms and conditions as the original product for the remaining warranty period.

5. Service availability and regional differences:
Speediance may not offer customer support in certain regions, and customer support policies may vary by location. Additional charges apply for services beyond standard coverage. Please contact Speediance customer support for local information.

Warranty period

The valid warranty period begins at 00:00 on the day of product delivery and ends at 24:00 on the day before the warranty expires .

If an exact delivery date cannot be specified, the warranty period is based on the date shown on the valid purchase invoice or the order date.

The warranty period begins if no valid purchase invoice, other proof of purchase, or order information can be presented. 30 calendar days after the product's manufacturing date .

All parts replaced within the warranty period become the property of Speediance, while parts that will be replaced outside the warranty period , remain the property of the customer.

Exclusions from the warranty

The following situations are not covered by this limited warranty :

1. Damage not caused by manufacturing factors, including but not limited to improper installation, use or disassembly, or failure to follow official instructions or manuals.

2. Direct or indirect damage caused by improper installation or dismantling of the product, such as damage to other personal belongings, walls or floors.

3. Wear and tear, metal corrosion, deterioration of performance or cosmetic damage (including but not limited to scratches, dents and discoloration of plastic) resulting from normal use or causes unrelated to manufacturing or transportation.

4. Damage caused by forced training due to aging or part failure.

5. Damage caused by unauthorized modifications, disassembly, maintenance or technical support not provided by Speediance (e.g. improper operation, product settings or installation by third parties).

6. Damage caused by unauthorized modifications to the circuit, incorrect use of chargers or external power sources, or operation of the product with insufficient or defective batteries.

7. Damage caused by reliability or compatibility issues with unauthorized third-party parts.

8. Damage caused by intentional damage to the product or by unauthorized modifications (including manipulation of the product's operating data).

9. Damage caused by exposure to extreme environmental conditions such as high temperatures or corrosive conditions.

10. Damage caused by operating the product in environments with electromagnetic interference or interference from other wireless devices.

11. Damage caused by force majeure events such as fire, flood, earthquake or power outages.

12. Damage caused by the use of a non-commercial product for commercial purposes, for example in gyms, hotels, apartment buildings or personal training studios.

13. Malfunctions or damage to third-party products, including those integrated into Speediance products upon request.

14. All software programs, regardless of whether they were pre-installed with the product or installed later.

15. Products or parts with altered or removed identification labels.

16. Damage caused by improper storage, transport or handling (such as fire, immersion in water, lightning strikes, etc.) during storage, transport or use of the product.

Warranty statements

1. Non-transferable warranty:
The Speediance warranty applies only to the original purchaser. If the product is resold, the warranty does not transfer to the new owner. For gift items, the warranty applies to the holder of the original user account. Replacement products do not come with a new warranty but are subject to the remaining warranty period of the original product and the same terms and conditions.

2. Product diagnostics
Returned products are diagnosed by Speediance. If the defective product is covered by this limited warranty, Speediance will cover the costs of replacement, repair, and return shipping.

3. Normal wear and tear:
With increasing use, resistance cables and pulleys can wear out due to long-term friction. This is considered normal wear and tear and not a material or manufacturing defect. For an optimal training experience and safety, regular inspection of the resistance cables is necessary. If any abnormalities such as thinning, cracks, fraying, or excessive wear are noticed, training should be stopped immediately and Speediance contacted for cable replacement.
Checking and replacing the cables is part of routine maintenance. During the warranty period (for non-human factors), Speediance provides free replacement parts; however, the cable must be replaced by the owner. If on-site service is required, Speediance or an authorized dealer can be contacted. However, labor, travel, and accommodation costs (if the distance to the service center or point of sale exceeds 150 km) are the responsibility of the applicant. Regardless of whether the replacement is performed by the customer or a third party, a thorough understanding of the device's structure and complexity is necessary to avoid physical damage and safety hazards. All associated risks and costs are the responsibility of the applicant.

4. No global guarantee
Speediance does not offer a global warranty. Warranty services are only available at designated service centers. However, nationwide repair services can be arranged for an additional fee.

5. Nationwide repairs:
If a product purchased in Region A needs to be repaired in Region B, prior authorization from Speediance is required. All associated costs, including customs duties, customs clearance fees, transportation, and storage, are the responsibility of the applicant.

6. Proper packaging:
If a product needs to be returned to Speediance for repair, contact Speediance to determine the correct packaging method. The product should be packed according to Speediance's standard packaging guidelines or in its original packaging. A security check must be performed before shipping to ensure the packaging is intact. Any special labels or instructions provided by Speediance must be affixed. Damage caused by improper packaging is the responsibility of the sender. If the original packaging is unavailable, the sender will bear all additional costs for alternative packaging.

7. Data backup:
If the product contains user-generated data, this data may be lost during the repair process. Therefore, a data backup should be performed before sending the product in for repair. The sender is liable for any data loss resulting from a failure to back up data before repair.

8. Removal of special decorations
All special decorations or items (including, but not limited to, decorative stickers, artwork, etc.) should be removed from the product before it is sent in for servicing. Speediance is not liable for damage to or loss of such special decorations or items.

9. Shipping after repair:
If the specified delivery address is incorrect or incomplete, or if delivery is refused, all resulting losses or costs – including the costs of reshipping or return shipping, processing fees and storage fees – will be borne by the applicant.

10. Timely receipt of returned products: Speediance stores products
under the following conditions 30 days long free of charge:

It is not possible to contact anyone using the collected data;

The delivery by the logistics provider fails;

Outstanding customer service fees have not been paid.
After the free storage period expires, a storage fee of 30 USD Approximately 25 EUR per day Due. Prior consent is deemed given, and Speediance is entitled to dispose of the product in accordance with applicable laws once the storage fee equals the remaining product value or after 90 days of paid storage. Disposal may include auctioning or selling the product to cover outstanding service fees (including storage fees). 11. Examination after receipt
Upon receipt, the product must be inspected for defects or damage. If any defects or damage are found, Speediance customer service must be notified within [timeframe]. 24 hours (or within the legally prescribed period). 12. Termination of warranty
Speediance reserves the right to terminate the warranty service if the product is used contrary to the official instructions or user manual, or if it is used for illegal purposes.

NOTE

These warranty terms may vary depending on local laws and regulations. Provisions that conflict with mandatory local laws do not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. Speediance reserves the right to interpret and modify these warranty terms at any time at its sole discretion, to the extent permitted by law.
